Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Life Sciences Functional Business Analyst to lead requirements discovery, functional design, and stakeholder alignment for cloud-native solutions built on AWS. The role requires strong domain expertise in Life Sciences along with the ability to translate business needs into technology-ready functional specifications for data, analytics, and AI-driven platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional requirement gathering with business, clinical, and operations stakeholders
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Act as a bridge between Life Sciences domain users and technical delivery teams
• Support solution design for AWS-based data, analytics, and AI platforms
• Define data requirements, business rules, and functional workflows
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint planning and reviews
• Validate solutions through UAT and ensure business readiness
• Support compliance, traceability, and documentation standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant
• Strong domain expertise in Life Sciences (Pharma, Clinical, R&D, Supply Chain, or Commercial)
• Experience working on cloud-based platforms, preferably AWS
• Understanding of data, analytics, and AI/ML solution lifecycles
• Ability to write clear functional specifications and user stories
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models and tools like JIRA, Confluence
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
